The Oregon Home Energy Rebates Program is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, and other assistive technology.
Conformance target
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. WCAG 2.2 AA includes the requirements of earlier WCAG versions referenced by Section 508 and the ADA. This site does not yet fully conform.
What we do
We completed an accessibility audit of this site in September 2026 and are fixing the issues it found.
Automated accessibility checks run on key pages of this site as part of our development process.
We build on an accessible component library that is tested for keyboard access, screen reader names and color contrast.
Known limitations
- Some documents uploaded by applicants, contractors or third parties may not be accessible. Contact us for an accessible version.
- On the Find a Contractor page, the map may be difficult to use with a keyboard or screen reader. The same contractors are available in the list view.
